Restaurant U Rudolfa
Pilsner Urquell Original restaurant U Rudolfa is in the wonderful surroundings of the historic Adalbertinum building in the salon of the Republic in Hradec Králové.
The investor of the building was the Society under the Protection of St. John of Nepomuck in Hradec Králové. The goal of this organization was to acquire a building not only with premises for a printing press, but also its own hall for meetings and lectures, as well as accommodation facilities, a chapel, a church museum and a restaurant.
The building is known as "Adal", i.e. Adalbertinum can be found under "Large square" near the place popularly called "U grandu". It is a building built in classicist style according to the project of F. Hellman, which was completed in 1897. Until 1948, the building served as a Catholic diocesan house. Later, the building served mainly cultural purposes. Today, it is the seat of the Hradec Kultural and Educational Society.
